An election for Shamrock, Texas, is hereby ordered to be held on May 4, 2024, for mayor and two council members.
An election is hereby ordered to be held on November 7, 2023, for the purpose of voting on Proposition 1: The adoption of an additional sales and use tax within the city at the rate of one-quarter of one percent.
The proposition up for consideration is a renewal of local sales and use tax at the rate of one-fourth of one percent to provide for the maintenance and repair of city streets.
Early voting begins Monday, April 24 through Friday, April 28 and Monday, May 1 and Tuesday, May 2. Regular voting on Saturday, May 6.
Notice is hereby given to the registered voters of the City of Shamrock that the City Annex 116 West 2nd St polling place has been moved to 305 N. Main St, Shamrock, Texas.
